What is Fouts Fire?
Fouts Fire is family-owned and operated since 1952. Fouts builds trucks that fight fires in every state in the continental U.S. and is based out of a 700,000 square foot facility in Milledgeville, GA, and a second facility in La Grange, TX.
Fouts Fire does things a little differently than the other guys do. Unlike the other American fire apparatus manufacturers, the Fouts Fire business model is based on a standardized line of excellent trucks, which has been honed and perfected over many years in the industry. Since their processes are repeatable, honed through experience, they’re able to build you a lot more fire truck for a lot less money, and deliver it to you fast. Fouts has deep supplier partnerships, cemented over seven decades of heavy duty manufacturing and fabrication experience. Their supply line is always full, even when competitors can’t put the parts together to deliver a truck before the year after next.
Fouts Fire History
In 1952, CJ Fouts and his brother Jerry bought a Sinclair service station in Smyrna, GA, and Fouts Bros Inc. was born. In the following years, the brothers invested in several industries, auto and truck ,dealerships, commercial body manufacturing, real estate, and CJ’s favorite hobby: fire trucks. Now in the hands of the third generation of the family, Fouts Bros has grown CJ’s passion into a thriving business. Today we’re dedicated to offering the best value fire apparatus in the country, from our industry-leading 3000 gallon tankers to our newest product, the Fouts FOUR.
